Digital Schoolhouse Session – April II – Available

April 13 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

In our new half day session we explore the algorithms behind some of the classic computer games before working with your students to create their own curriculum-themed adventure game.

To get in the mood students play the old ZX Spectrum classic ‘The Hobbit’ before working as games design companies to create their own text-based adventure game.

We have had amazing feedback so far on our pilots of this new activity.

One school commented that one boy wrote more during this morning session than he had ever accomplished in a week of English lessons.

We offering a limited number of free sessions so you can try it out too. Our subscribing schools will get first refusal on the dates. We’ll provide the hardware and the software required for the session.

You can also choose from the list of workshops listed here http://www.digitalschoolhouse.org.uk/workshops

The first session for each school/academy is free of charge.
