Q. Are your staff qualified to work with children?
All of the staff at Knetic are qualified teachers with many years experience of working in the classroom, we all have DBS certificate issued by the Criminal Records Bureau These can be provided upon request.
Q. What do we need to provide?
Generally all we need is a suitable room to work in with access to power for the equipment we bring. Some schools have props and resources they would like us to use, please let us know if this is the case when we have our planning meeting.
Q. What about Health & Safety?
Staff from Knetic Education will ask to see the Health & Safety guidelines issued by the place in which we deliver the session and will work inside those. For visiting schools we have policies and procedures in place to safeguard learners.
We have Public Liability Insurance & Professional Indemnity insurance. Certificate of insurance can be provided on request.
Q. What does it cost?
The cost of a session will depend on whether you are a subscribing organisation. Subscribers are offered discounts on sessions.
A full day session is £400 and half day and twilight sessions are £200.
Subscribers are entitled to a £50 discount on the usual session costs and some subscriptions come with bundled sessions.
Q. How do we get a copy of the work the children have produced?
As the work we do is almost entirely digital, work will ordinarily be delivered by cloud based services. We can also provide a copy on memory stick. or DVDs if required.
Q. What area do you operate in?
We are based in Sunderland, we are however happy to operate in all areas of the UK.
Generally locations more than 50 miles away from Sunderland will incur a cost for travel and accommodation.
