We had an awesome day working with Year 4 at St Anne’s RC Primary in Sunderland supporting them on a photographic field trip to Penshaw Monument. We started at school by looking at some pictures of the monument for inspiration, learned how to use the camera and the basic rules of composition. After getting some tips on how to take great shots, we headed off to the monument.
The brief was to take pictures that captured the monument at it’s best using unusual angle and interesting perspectives.
Of course the children couldn’t resist snapping each other too.
Back at school the children downloaded their best ten images and spent the rest of the day editing them in Photoshop.
The finished pictures will be forming a display in school.
