MorphStop motion animation is a powerful creative tool that gives learners a vehicle to demonstrate their understanding of the curriculum.

Your learners will develop the skills made famous by Aardman Animation in the famous Wallace and Gromit movies and make their own stop motion films.

You can prepare for the session by making your own clay models or paper cut outs or we can even animate the learners themselves pixilation style.

Either way stop motion is the perfect choice for an after school activity or a cross-curricular workshop and is always a favourite with children in KS1 and KS2 alike.

Session can be  adapted to suit the different age ranges and cover all the key stop-motion skills:

  • Story-boarding
  • Onion skinning
  • Creating audio and sound effects
  • Creating titles and credits
  • Using chroma-key

In our animation sessions we use a variety of different software and hardware to create stop-motion animations.

Some examples include

  • Creating an animation to explain your understanding of a concept in science
  • Making an online safety animation teaching fellow learners how to be safe from bullies
  • Bringing a story you have been studying to life
  • Explaining an algorithm in maths or computing

Why not fire the imagination of your learners by booking an animation session. You can come to us or we can come to you. Either way creating an animation gives real purpose to their work and an outlet for their creativity.
