Workgroup Session – Tools for teaching audio production

In this session we will explore Garageband, an iPad app that is ideal for making music and recording audio. This session will be useful to any teachers in our cluster schools and is applicable to general curriculum as well as computing. It will be of particular interest to Y4 teachers who are delivering the Audio Production unit In teach computing.

We will look a how GarageBand can support the Audio Production unit in Y4 and how it can be used in the classroom as a cross-curricular resource to create podcasts and radio plays.

We aim for it to be a hands-on session so it would be good to have your iPad ready and to have the Garageband app installed.

This session is offered twice to give people the opportunity to find a convenient date. You only need attend one of the sessions.
