Workgroup Session – Representing Data

In this session we will explore Numbers, an iPad app that is ideal for processing and representing data. This session will be useful to any teachers in our cluster schools and is applicable to general curriculum as well as computing. We will look at how you can use Numbers to create spreadsheets to represent data across the curriculum. It will also be of particular interest to Y6  teachers who are delivering the Introduction to Spreadsheets unit In teach computing.

We will look a how Numbers can support the Introduction to Spreadsheets Unit in Y6 and how it can be used in the classroom as a cross-curricular resource to produce graphs, infographics and manipulate data.

We aim for it to be a hands-on session so it would be good to have your iPad ready and to have the Numbers app installed.

This session is offered twice to give people the opportunity to find a convenient date. You only need attend one of the sessions.
